Announcement of Death
We gather here today, heavy-hearted yet grateful, to celebrate the life of Samuel Rollin Dunnuck V, affectionately known to us all as Sammy. Born on May 15, 2012, in Casper, Wyoming, Sammy was more than just the firstborn son of Rollie and Raechyl; he was their greatest joy, their little spark of energy, and a beacon of light in our lives.
Biography
From the very beginning, Sammy filled his days with endless curiosity and activity. There was rarely a moment of stillness; it was as if he was powered by an inner zeal to explore and experience the world. Whether splashing in water, embarking on camping adventures, or zooming around on a 4-wheeler, Sammy seized life with both hands and a heart full of joy. Even as the disease took away his ability to run and play, it could never dim his beaming smile or his infectious laugh. Sammy was a shining example of resilience, teaching us all to find light even in our darkest moments.
Loved Ones
To his dear brother, Odin, Sammy was not just a sibling but a best friend and partner in countless adventures. Together, they shared a bond that transcends words, one that will forever live on in their hearts and memories. Sammy’s story has touched the lives of many, leaving an unforgettable mark on those who knew him. He was a young warrior, and his spirit will always remain with us.
Hobbies
Sammy loved to explore, play, and enjoy life to the fullest. Whether it was camping, splashing in water, or zooming on his 4-wheeler, he embraced every moment with joy and enthusiasm. His smile was contagious, and his laughter was a melody that brought happiness to everyone around him.
Memorial Services
As we mourn his passing and celebrate his life, we invite everyone to join us by wearing something blue, Sammy’s favorite color, on Saturday, October 5th, for his funeral service at City Park Church. Your presence and support mean the world to Rollie, Raechyl, Odin, and the entire family. They are deeply grateful for the love that surrounds them during this difficult time.
Closing Thoughts
In lieu of flowers, if you feel moved to honor Sammy further, please consider making a donation to The Orr’s Hope Foundation or Central Wyoming Hospice so that other families may find support and solace in their time of need.
Thank you, Sammy, for being the light of our lives. We are all forever changed by you. Until we meet again, you will forever remain in our hearts.
