Announcement of Death
In 2024 we lost a shining star within our community, Patricia “Patty” Clausen joined her country on the other side of freedom.
Biography
Patty was born on November 10, 1941 to Ed and Olive Kudrna in the small rural town of Hoskins that she always called home. Patty served with pride in the United States Coast Guard from April 1973 until her retirement in January, 1995 at which time she was a Chief Petty Officer. Her career allowed her to reside in many locales, but she always came home by heart; and found season long companionship from hoskins where she was with cousins and family friends throughout the year.
Loved Ones
Patty never met an animal she didn’t love, but hounds were her heart and soul, always there with soft ears to twitch a little sympathy into place when it was needed. At least one of her most beloved friends will have company in eternity.
Memorial Services
Per Patty’s request, no formal services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to these two special organizations that were close to her heart for those who would like a way in which they can honor the memory of Vickie Sharp:
