Announcement of Death
Henry G. Lapointe Augusta -We are saddened to announce the passing of Henry G. Lapointe, 89 who left this world peacefully in his home; Saturday October 12th with a short illness by his side Henry was the loving son of the late Wilfred and Alexina “Alcee” (Campeau) Lapointe born in Augusta on October 3, 1935.
Biography
Henry was known during his life to be a hard-working and dedicated person. He spent many years working for Bernard’s Super Market & The Maine Department of Transportation in Augusta before retiring to work at the Gardiner Shoe Company.
Hobbies
Henry will also be remembered for his infectious good spirit and love of life. Ernie led for eating out with family unit and his excess of companions, loved Hallmark movies as well lifespan if girlfriends were noticing them — unbelievable Ern sat through “The Price Is Right” recalled for his drollery and laid-back attitude.
Loved Ones
He worked at Le Club Calumet and was an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus, 3rd Degree with Abnaki Council #334 as well as a Sir Knight in the 4th degree with Assembly #346ました.

Memorial Services
The family wishes to offer special thanks to Jerry Guzman, who was a live-in caregiver for Henry over the past 11 years as well as Terry Pelletier third shift weekend caretaker. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to MaineGeneral Hospice for the exceptional care they provided in his final days.
Family and friends may visit on Thursday, October 17 from 2 to 4 p.m. AND6 to &8:00 PM at Plummer Funeral Home16 Pleasant St.Augusta A Mass of Christian Burial in Henry’s memory will be celebrated on Friday Oct 18 at 11AM at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Western Ave., Augusta He will be laid to rest with committal prayers in the family lot at Holy Family Cemetery, Townsend Road, Augusta following the service.
