eath Lynda Lynch King died Thursday, October 10, 2024, peacefully in her sleep. She was 60 years old and led in Vinita.
Biography
Lynda is the beloved daughter of Charles and Joan Lynch and a lifelong resident of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University and spent several years working as a mortgage lender for Bragg, Mansfield, and Stegall. Lynda was a devoted follower of Calvary Campus’s One Church. Her light for faith and love could never be dimmed; she was a shining example of love, hospitality, and service.
Hobbies
There was never a time someone needed to call ahead before visiting Lynda; everyone knew they were welcome. She took great pleasure in feeding friends and relatives. Her gift of sacred hospitality for everybody was part of the amazing person she was.
Loved Ones
Her loyal brothers, Bruce Lynch and Lyle Lynch with his wife, Susan, as well as her beloved daughter, Amber King, and Amber’s fiancĂ©, Bubba Martinez, survive her. Numerous beloved family members and acquaintances also survive her.
Predeceased by her husband of 33 years, Avery Ross King, known as Bubba; her father, Charles Lynch; and her grandparents, Mattie Gamble Rosson, Lizzie Washburne Steen and James and Kathleen Gamble.
Memorial Services
A celebration of life for Lynda will take place on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at One Church – Calvary Campus, with visitation from 1:00 pm to the funeral service at 3:00 pm. Lynda was laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
Closing Thoughts
The warmth of Lynda’s heart, her strength, and her very determined spirit will miss all those who knew her. Life had indeed been a living testimony of faith, love, and warm hospitality.
