Biography

Rick studied French literature at Pittsburg State University. It was within that period as a Green Beret in the U.S. He accomplished a stage of significant self-reflection; however, this was more a stepping stone to the more extensive artistic and business undertakings.

Career

After leaving the military, Rick worked for the U.S. Marshals Service in Kansas for 16 years. He developed a love of the performing arts and continued to take ballet and jazz dance classes and do community theater. In 2002, he moved to Maine, where he opened a bed and breakfast and later founded the Clary Lake Woodworking School, teaching woodworking to students from all over the region.

Rick was married for 28 years to his wonderful wife, Linda, whom he loved dearly. He leaves behind a loving family and friends, including his granddaughter, Madeline Elizabeth.
