Announcement of Death
Matthew Ryan Krause, 40, of Massachusetts, formerly of Milton, Massachusetts, passed away Friday, October 18. Matt was a good soul with an incredible work ethic and zest for life. He will be bitterly forfeited by all who knew him and admired him.
Biography
A lifelong resident of the community and 2003 East Bladen High School alumnus, Matthew attended NC State University where he co-founded the ATO Fraternity becoming its president and started many very meaningful relationships through his spirit of brotherhood. He was recognized not only locally, but throughout various editions of publications like the Green Bay Obituary, Chicago Tribune Obituaries, and Hartford Courant Obituaries.
He was an Eagle Scout and a member of Troop 600 because of his passion for the outdoors, which he believed was cultivated in scouting. It is said that he is enthusiastic and gifted; he would fire pyrotechnic displays at family events that are very joyful and wonderful. He was professionally featured and has appeared in national media, including Times Union and Daily Record of Wooster, Ohio.
Hobbies
Except for boating, fishing, and coaching his kids’ sports, Matthew spends free time doing hobbies. He was an outdoors man and used to firework parties at any time in the year, which made him cool.
Loved Ones
The family continues through his wife, Carmen W. Krause, and children Wesley (11), Hunter (9), and Audrey (8). In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his mother, Janet C. Krause; father, Raymond J. Jr.; brother, Aaron; sister, Lindsey Coonright; and grandmother, Barbara E. Krause. Elena and Penny, the family dogs, will also really miss his loving presence. His grandparents predeceased him include Raymond J. Krause Sr., MD; Dorothy Dunn Krause; Robert E. Cheesman; and Mildred Faustich Cheesman.
Memorial Services
A memorial service will be held for the celebration of Matthew’s life by his family and friends as they pay their respects to his big heart, which was contagious in laughter and had no bounds of love. It shows at Fond du Lac Obituaries to The Henryhand Funeral Home, as it is more than clear that he was deeply loved.
