It is with profound peace that Margaret Jane Wolin, affectionately known as “Maggie,” passed away peacefully on September 20, 2024. She was 82 years old.
Biography
Maggie has been a girl born on August 3, 1942, being welcomed by loving parents Woodrow and Mary Cohlouer and raised in their rural home in Portland, Oregon. A girl from a Southern Baptist household, she was instilled in faith and resilience that went to mold her life. Maggie carried the virtues which stood strong in her life always, part of being and holding the confluence in all that life put before her.
Loved Ones
Maggie has won the hearts of thousands with her love and dedication to the community. Her willpower certainly inspired all those who knew her, and she survived with a loving family and many dear friends-all of whom miss her so intimately. Such a legacy of faith and perseverance lives in the hearts of all blessed to know her.

As a farewell to Maggie’s life and legacy, a memorial service will be organized to remember the immense influence that she has brought to people around her. We welcome all those who knew her to participate in giving us an opportunity to pay homage to her memory.
