Announcement of Death
We regret to report the death of Colton Aaron Mills who passed away far too soon on the evening of October 19th, only one year and five months.
Biography
Although Colton lived only for 7 months, those months of life were filled with love and happiness. He brought laughter and happiness to all the people he met in Millen, Georgia. Whether it was playing with Matchbox cars, trucks, and trains or enjoying a sweet treat from Dairy Queen under the sun, every moment counted. The show Bluey always brought a wide smile on his face.
Loved Ones
His loving parents, Audrey Lynn Smith and David Aaron Mills, will carry his memory. He is survived by siblings, grandparents, aunts, and everyone who loved him. His time with us was short but forever will his impact be felt.
Memorial Services
He will be taken to his eternal home with a funeral service on Wednesday at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro. Interment will follow the service at Green Fork Baptist Church Cemetery.
Closing Thoughts
Nobody likes saying goodbye. We find peace in knowing that Colton loved us and we got to share his love during his short stay with us.
Hobbies
When Colton was with us, it was a little limited, but that’s what makes him leave his footprint in the form of happiness through playful moments and simple things. He was enthusiastic about toys and programs and brought pure joy to everyone surrounding him, because of those simple things that filled their lives so full of happiness that will always be remembered.
