Biography
Jana’s life was a story of remarkable achievements and joyous moments, filled with satisfaction and pride, be that through her participation in Special Olympics, a source of immense pride for Jana and her family. In 1987, she proved her incredible talent as a winner at the National Special Olympics in South Bend, Indiana. She won gold and bronze medals. Of course, aside from scrapbooking with her sisters and fishing with anyone willing to go on the water with her, she was devoted to the Special Olympics.
Loved Ones
Jana now is rejoined in heaven with her loving father, Arlie Blair; mother, Betty Cotten Sides; and bonus mom so dear to her heart, Linda Blair. She also reunited with her nephew, Dakota Higgins, and great-nephew, Easton Ray Higgins. Jana leaves behind a loving family who will always treasure her memory, including three sisters—Valerie Ramsey (Leonard), Judy Hayes (Terry), and Lavel Neal (Paul)—and three brothers—Jimmy Higgins (Diane), Rickey Higgins (Charley), and Wayne Higgins (Lesha). She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and extended family members, including uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Hobbies
Jana also enjoyed things other than sport. Scrapbooking with her sisters was another passion of hers, and fishing with friends and family is one of her favorite activities. All these hobbies mean so much in her life that she warmed the whole of humanity with love from her heart.

Faye Earl Casey was brought forth August 24, 1949, to Earl Casey and Dora LeMoine-Casey of Los Angeles, California. A faithful community and family member as the second oldest of ten siblings, Faye’s family embraced a nomadic lifestyle that equipped her for a fulfilling career as a truck driver-one she loved. Faye’s bright character and generous spirit shone in all her pursuits.
Loved Ones
Faye was preceded by her forefathers, Sandra Sue Mathis and Gilbert Bryant Casey, and her dear son, David Allen Lawson. Surviving ancestry Joe Casey Sr., Wilma South, Dorse Rogers, Leeroy Casey, Beatrice Craig, and Lora Casey; children Tony Lawson, Donna, and Kevin Vincent; grandchildren Alyson Vincent, Justin and Lauren Vincent, Dakota Lawson, Claudia Vincent, and Sydney Lawson; and great-grandchildren Hunter, Tate, Luke Lawson, and Harper Tidwell. There are also many nieces and nephews whose lives she impacted, and they too are bereaved by her death.

Avon Edmonson of Hot Springs, Arkansas, died on Thursday, October 17, 2024, in Hot Springs. She was 75 years old. Born November 29, 1948, in Bauxite, Arkansas, Avon lived a full life with love and devotion given generously to her family.
Biography
Avon was a treasured wife, mother, Nana, sister and friend who certainly embodied warmth and kindness in her legacy. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years, Charley Edmonson, she is now home with him and her parents, EF (Chunk) and Lillian Tatum, her sister Mary and brothers Stan and Don.
Loved Ones
Her daughters, Ronda Edmonson of Bismarck and Carol (Alex) Brown of Hot Springs, carry on her loving memory. She also will be deeply missed by her brother, Rick (Rose) Tatum of Prattsville. Her memory lives on in her grandchildren: Meghan (Matt) Smith, Terrin Thomas, Chase Brown, Abby Chotigul, and Gage Edmonson, as well as her 14 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
Hobbies
Avon had a lot of hobbies and pastimes during her lifetime. She spent most of her lifetime with her family whom she loved and cared for immensely.
Memorial Services
The family and friends will gather for visitation on Wednesday, 23rd October 2024, between 5:00 and 7:00 PM at Ashby Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services are set to take place on Thursday, 24th October 2024, at the same funeral home, 2:00 PM, followed by a burial at Old Rosemont Cemetery.
