Announcement of Death

David Thomas Netrefa, 66 of Denton passed away Tuesday evening July 9. He passed away Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024 in Jonesboro one week before his sixty-seventh birthday. David Anthony Netrefa 1957-2019 Born October 24, Melrose Park Illinois to Robert and Josephine Netrefa, David’s life was deeply rooted within family… nature… community.

Biography

The life of David evidenced the pleasures and joys that can come with a simple yet meaningful life. While he accomplished a great deal during his lifetime, he grounded in the values of family and community. It’s a testament to his dedication and love, the warmth of a man who found joy in life’s simple things — words equally reminiscent of heartfelt obituary submissions across myriad communities.

Hobbies

The Shack David loved the great outdoors! More than anything, he spent endless hours in pursuit of hunting and fishing…and all that entailed.. exploring the beauty of nature. These were the things that gave him peace and happiness. As well as many like tributes found in Green Bay obituaries or Tallahassee Democrat Obits, David’s affinity toward the outdoors was a significant part of his life and he passed a love for it on to friends and family.

Loved Ones

David is survived by his loving family who loved him very dearly. He is survived by his loving fiancée, Donna Neubauer and children: Robbie Netrefa (Rachael),Mike Neubauer (Christina),DavidNetrea,Kyra Westfall,Angie Netrefa & Shannon Croom(Micheal. He is also survived by his sister, Kimmy Goelz (Jim), nephews Mathew and Michael, niece Sarah; sixteen grandchildren as well as two great-grandchildren. David will be remembered as a family immortalized in Evansville or Chicago Tribune obituaries, his lessons and love remaining with all who loved him.

Memorial Services

Memorials: Be sure to attend the A Celebration of Life for David at 2 pm on October 27, New Life Church (Black Rock) where family and friends will be invited to join in remembering him. This will be a time for circumspection as in collective readings laid down in Henryhand Funeral Home obituaries or bulk relegations depicted at Fort Wayne Obituaries.

Closing Thoughts

David was a blessing to our lives and his loss will be deeply felt. His love, laughter and lessons live on in our hearts — just as though being described by Cincinnati or Birmingham obituaries.
